Dogs

We know from our own experiences that it can be quite stressful taking your dog on holiday.

We are happy to welcome any breed of dog with their owners and pleased to accept up to 5 dogs without referral. if you have more than 5 dogs or more than 3 of an exceptionally large breed please get in touch first before booking. Although we have plenty of space for dogs to run and play the cottage itself may be unsuitable for you all.

At Dog Rose Cottage we think we have thought of everything to make your stay with your dogs as comfortable and stress free as possible.

The cottage garden is fenced with a gate that opens directly onto the paddock which is also fenced. The area is secure unless your dog is a jumper or a digger!

Inside the cottage all floors are easy clean with washable mats and the furniture is all wipeable.

We provide water bowls and splash mats.

There is a supply of dog towels.

In the outside store room there is:

Assortment of cages, car ramp, tie out line, plastic beds, games and toys.

In the paddock there is some basic dog agility equipment which is available from April to October.

Finns is a purpose built swimming facility for dogs. It is an above ground cold water pool operated by Sally on a part time basis. The pool is open between April and October and can be booked by guests for complementary swim sessions during their stay. Full details regarding the pool can be found at www.finns.club
